Redmi Note 5 Pro Starts Receiving 2020, Redmi Note 5 Pro is receiving a new update, which is coming with the November Android security patch.

The phone already received the MIUI 11 update last month, and now the new update brings the latest software patches.

 For older phones like Redmi Note 5 Pro, it is quite impressive to see Xiaomi rolling out security patches on time.

 Xiaomi has recently been rolling out the MIUI 11 update to host the phone, and older devices such as the Redmi Note 4, Redmi 5, and others are receiving it as well.

Xiaomi's Mi Forums has been populated for users sharing screenshots of the Redmi Note 5 Pro update.

The updated version number comes with MIUI 11.0.3.0.PEIMIXM, and has a size of about 544MB. The update, as noted, brings with it the November security patch.


 The user-shared changelog also replicates all the MIUI 11 features that have already rolled out with the MIUI v11.02.0 PEIMIXM update from last month. Xiaomi confirmed to Gadgets 360 that the update was indeed running for the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

The last MIUI 11 update for the Redmi Note 5 Pro brought in the game Turbo with features such as the constant swipe to open additional menus and the ability to make home screen short cuts for the game Turbo.

 In addition, the ability to switch between autoplay and internet connectivity provided by the two SIMs has also come in the game Turbo.

 Finally, auto-brightness, reading mode and the ability to automatically turn off screenshot gestures have made their way to the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

 Interestingly, Redmi Note 5 Pro is one of the first Xiaomi phones to receive the November security patch.

 If you do not see the update in the settings, there is no option, but to wait, as Xiaomi has not yet provided any download link.
